Crazy good New York strip loin and portabello mushroom at an Italian place on the Sparks Street Mall, Ottawa.

For some strange reason, this crazy bird kept trying to bust into my sister's house one morning while we were visiting.

Day 91

This was a curious photo-taking. The house appears to be deserted, although it doesn't have any official notices on it. I spent a few minutes taking photos from the curbside then got a really creepy vibe and started to wonder if maybe the house was occupied and they simply hadn't replaced the windows on the right.

Most of my abandoned building shots tend to be either up close or unobstructed, but what struck me about this house, in late spring, was the green all around it--an interesting contrast between dilapidated human-made construct and flourishing natural growth.

Day 90

Looks a little like a map of India.

Day 88

I like this one because Lola looks like she knows exactly what she's doing--being a little playful and teasing for the camera. Of course, she does know exactly what she's doing...

Day 87

Our dogs being so lovely, I'm sure no one will hold it against me that I end up taking photos of them when I'm lacking inspiration.

Day 86

I like this one. It's a two-car garage set back on the lot of yet another abandoned house in Albion, MI. All I did to edit the photo was crop, make it black and white, and boost the colour a little. I like the result--particularly the light.

Day 85

Washington Gardner Elementary School (formerly High School).

Day 84

View of one branch of the Kalamazoo river and the backs of the Superior Street businesses, Albion, MI.
