Day 63

Clouds that looked really cool at the time, yet in the photograph, not so much. Gina Relays, Hillsdale, MI.

Day 62

Keep your stick on the ice (?).

Day 61 - Bonus Material

Evidence once again that I have no idea how to photograph food. The top pic was taken with no flash. Notice that the chicken and the chickpeas seem fairly similar in colour. The bottom pic is taken with flash, and looks garishly like those cheap restaurant adds when they haven't had enough budget to afford high quality film stock or something like that. Oh well. Even though the chicken and the chickpeas were a little overdone, it was a pretty nice Indian feast--and a great opportunity to treat my wife. I did all the cooking and all the cleanup!

Day 61

Eddie, our neighbours' dog, through the fence.

Day 60

Is it windy in south-central Michigan in the spring?

Day 59

Any guesses as to what this is?

Day 54

Clock, on a day during which I lacked inspiration. I was going to call this "Stoppage Time," since the clock hasn't worked since I knocked it off the wall vacuuming (true story). Shortly after taking the photo, the clock started working again.

Day 46

Tomatillo, bark yard, 7:30pm.

Day 45

Food photography is not something I particularly enjoy--nor something that I'm very good at. This was an absolutely delicious meal but it looked a lot better in real life than it does here.

Day 44 Bonus material

Lola got a little excited barking at something outside and decided she need a closer view.

Day 44

So this morning I looked out the kitchen window and saw four mallards on our neighbour's front lawn. I grabbed the camera and opened our front door, only to find four Muscovy ducks on our own lawn! They're quite attractive birds from a distance but up close they're not very pretty due the the heavy red skin blotches that grow on their faces. But they're still ducks, so they're cool.

Day 43

Front walkway lamp, 9:30pm, Albion, MI.

Day 42

Sky and trees, backyard, Albion, MI. I really wasn't into this today, so I just walked into the yard and snapped off a few pictures.

Day 41

The keys to my old Ford Focus, now in the hand of a woman.
